Our Grade – C

Beautiful website with plenty of red flags.

At a Glance

Flocksocial is a very new Instagram growth service based in Serbia with an impressive website. For a service that has only been operating for a few months, everything looks compelling to the unsuspecting customer.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of red flags.

Pricing

Flocksocial offers a basic plan for $49 per month and a business plan for $99 per month.

The issue with these offerings, and what makes us highly suspicious, is that Flock makes explicit guarantees of follower numbers. They guarantee 600 followers per month for their cheapest plan and over 1000 followers on their business plan. These promises are ludicrous.

Service Details

They offer a basic follow/unfollow service. This service still works quite well, but not nearly well enough for how many followers they’re promising the average customer.

This obfuscates the question. A 90% reciprocal conversion rate is an flagrant lie. Even a 9% conversion rate would be suspicious. They’re trying to talk around the fact that they’re going to follow massive amounts of people (600 guaranteed followers and a “90% conversion rate” means 666 people followed).

Let’s get real, a 90% reciprocal conversion rate is impossible. You’re still going to follow a ton of random accounts. If your conversion rate is too good to be true, it means that some of the accounts following you back are controlled by this company (and thus are not organic).

Integrity & Reputation

We don’t think that this service is particularly trustworthy. Let’s look at their “Is it safe” statement first.

There are two issues with their safety statement. First of all, it’s obvious that they use a bot to grow accounts. There’s no mention of human activity anywhere. By definition, the service is only safe to a point. You don’t get explicitly banned for botting on Instagram, you get shadowbanned and action blocked.

Next, they don’t have a track record of 5000 managed accounts. They launched their website in late 2020 while claiming to have 5000 managed accounts. That’s really farfetched. There are dozens of services out there. It could take years for a new player in the space to hit 5000 customers.

On the topic of safety, it’s pretty weird that they don’t mention that they need your password, huh? This is another shady tactic service providers use. They make you think that the “login” on their website doesn’t hand over your password to them.

Next, our favorite, the Trustpilot reviews!

Wow, looks great! If it’s not fake, this is one of the best Trustpilot pages in this space that we’ve ever seen.

Just to help prove how new this service is, note how recently they claimed their profile:

Just go to the third page to start to uncover the deception. All the reviews are from users in Russia, which is bizarre. They commit the classic error of having their fake reviewers mention that they have been customers for “six months.”

Err, that would bring us to June 2020. Your website wasn’t live 6 months ago.

For the record, I know a few Russians. They DO NOT write English this way. A westerner is writing these reviews and paying shill accounts in Russia to write them.

The review distribution is highly suspicious. There’s roughly one extremely positive yet generic review almost every day. The reviews seldom overlap. This is a concerted effort to boost the company’s Trustpilot presence while not tipping off Trustpilot to abuse on the platform.

This said, they have a surprisingly large team for such a new service. It’s not that this service is a scam, just that they aren’t being straightforward about what they’re offering.

Conclusion

Here’s the thing. As much as this team is dishonest, there’s a good chance that the service actually works. They have too many people working on it for it to be some type of elaborate scam. They’re trying to pull the wool over your eyes but the quality of service is probably decent. We award our Serbian friends with a C rating.
