Ektor.io / Ektora Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade – D+

A very recent rename and rebrand of a less-than-reputable service leaves us doubtful of this service and its claims.

Ektor.io and Ektora.com are the same business

At a Glance

As recently as December 2020, Ektor.io was a unique desktop-based Instagram growth provider. Into the new year, we noticed that the site was no longer operational. Today, the ektor.io domain redirects to … ektora.com, an equally-awful name behind a slightly-different Instagram growth service.

As recently as November 2020, Ektora.com wasn’t even a complete website:

Ektora offers one plan at a point that is consistent with other managed SaaS providers’.

Service Details

This appears to be a typical managed SaaS product. Though the website is pretty, the previous site, Ektor, wasn’t notable for any reason. Further, I doubt that such a small operation actually has the manpower to provide “priority” support.

Integrity & Reputation

The business just rebranded but for some reason continued using the same awful base name.

Ektor.io had terrible reviews on Trustpilot. There is actually a warning on the page warning people of mis-use.

There are tons of realistic-sounding bad reviews offset by fake-sounding glowing reviews. Bad reviews haven’t been responded to in almost a full year. It’s clear that the owner (again, owner-operator) didn’t care about the customers at all.

Since Ektora is brand new, the site is a great example of a totally-fake business in its infancy. The shameful part is that the owner might be trying to clean up his act, but is still relying on shady marketing.

This about sums it up

Conclusion

Ektor.io, which many people suggest was a complete scam, was rebranded as Ektora.com in 2021. I don’t recommend either iteration of this service.

Hi,
I’m currently an Ektora customer.
I would just like to share my opinion and clarify the picture.
I jumped on a call with the Ektora team and they really insist, they have nothing to do with Ektor.io.
They are pretty transparent, the customer support and platform are both really good.

Hey Bastien, thanks for this information.

I wouldn’t have made this judgement just based on the names being similar. The old domain was re-routing all traffic to the new site with the slightly-different name. To claim that the sites have no relation is nonsensical.

I am not assuming that you are affiliated with the service, but please email us at info@ and we’d be happy to discuss more.
