Boostly.io Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade – X

This service shut down circa February 2020. Their website is still operating, but performs poorly in Google search

View our grading methodology.

Important note: not to be confused with the legitimate UK-based business Boostly.co.uk that has apparently been getting emails from angry Boostly.io customers

At a Glance

This service is closed, though we speculate that this was a simple SaaS offering. They claimed to guarantee thousands of followers in their main header, which always rubbed me the wrong way. To give them some credit, the website is gorgeous!

Boostly is closed and pricing is no longer displayed

Service Details

We do not know how exactly the service operated.

Integrity & Reputation

There is very little lasting web presence and only one review on Trustpilot, calling the business “a complete scam.” There are also mentions in the other Boostly company’s blog post suggesting that angry customers were desperately searching for an outlet to get refunds.

Conclusion

Boostly has closed, and, not to be harsh, but the Instagram growth service space is probably better for it.

Likegrowers Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade: C-

A service that may be respectable but falls short of competitors on nearly all points.

This seems like a lie!

At a Glance

Though Likegrower has been around for a very long time, their service remains shadowy. It’s not a subscription service, but don’t be fooled by their cheap prices. It’s likely that they’re just purchasing fake activity on pay-for-likes sites or adding you to a spammy botnet.

Pricing

The prices are reasonable, but considering the quality of what you’d be getting, you’d be better off just paying to run ads.

What’s a “Human Algorithm”? Err…

With Likegrowers, you sign up and then can log in using a dashboard from which you can probably influence some targeting. It’s not clear to me whether they need your password or just send activity to you. In any case, beware when the buzzwords are strong. When they start talking about algorithms and AI at this price point, don’t be fooled! Everything is automated in the simplest way possible, and your “organic” “human” results will not be nearly what you’re expecting.

Integrity & Reputation

This business has no web presence to speak of despite being active for over three years. There are 3 independent reviews on Trustpilot and, though Trustpilot isn’t the ultimate source of truth, all the reviews mention that the service no longer works. None of them have been responded to. There are 150+ reviews on the site but due to other clearly false claims made on the website (and the fact that none of the identities are verified), they shouldn’t be trusted.

There is no visible team behind this business or an easy way to contact support. It is likely an overseas firm run by a single person whose automated bot stopped working at some point.

After more research, I determined that this business was an offshoot of the equally opaque IvyMinds, a marketing website registered in the Netherlands claiming to have some very impressive clients:

Yeah, right.

Conclusion

What seems like a somewhat unique, low-priced service has too many red flags to be worth trying. They’ve gone to some lengths to hide information and maintain a low profile. Kind of ironic that a business that is supposed to be boosting your Instagram doesn’t want anybody to find out about them.

Pretty Fit Melanin Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade: D

This service may be functional but isn’t a wise choice.

View our grading methodology.

At a Glance

Using language borrowed from other websites, PrettyFitMelanin claims to be the #1 growth service. Actually, you’re just paying for a feature on a niche fitness page with 700k+ followers.

Pricing

This service offers a one-time feature in exchange for a $20 Paypal donation.

Service Details

The service is somewhat unique and, ultimately, the provider is forthcoming about how your profile will be promoted. The issue with this type of service is that if you’re only going to be promoted on one single account, and that account’s owner has gone so far as to create a website in order to sell features, you can be assured that the quality of followers will be low and one-dimensional.

Integrity & Reputation

This is a new business dependent on an Instagram account which is centered around soft-core pornography (i.e. the “hot girls” niche). The marketing copy is generic and is a huge exaggeration for what is actually offered.

The payment processing is extremely shady as you’re asked to “donate” to GymDeity (an associated business) and then send @prettyfitmelanin a DM on Instagram. When you donate money on Paypal, you have no buyer protections. Though the service probably functions, you’d have no recourse if it didn’t.

Conclusion

Paying for features on Instagram can be a unique, albeit expensive, way to grow your account. Donating $20 to some random company on Paypal to be featured on a “hot girl” Instagram page is an awful idea, as it’s highly unlikely that the audience will be the demographic you are looking to target for your business.
