YoViral / ViralRace Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade – D

A disreputable service selling fake likes and followers.

View our grading methodology.

YoViral re-branded as ViralRace

First rule of Instagram growth services: If you started with a terrible name, your new name must be just as bad.

At a Glance

YoViral re-launched as ViralRace. These “viral” businesses sell instant “real” likes and followers that are actually fake. In truth, you have to be pretty dumb to fall for a scam like this in the year 2021, but people still do. That’s why this blog exists.

If something seems too good to be true, it is! How can they guarantee the number of likes? Well …

Service Details

ViralRace controls a large amount of bot accounts that they use to provide likes, comments, followers, and views. Because this is against Instagram’s terms of service, these accounts will be regularly banned.

When the accounts are banned, you lose the activity that you paid for, and you have no recourse. If you consistently buy activity from fake accounts, you are placing your account at risk of a ban as well.

Further, none of these “real” followers, even if they do stick, will ever interact with your account again. Your engagement rate will be permanently stunted as a result of this purchase.

Integrity & Reputation

Although we don’t support these “SMM Panel” services, we might give them decent reviews if they were somewhat honest. Being honest can subject a business to legal action from Instagram, which contributes to why they might lie about what they’re selling.

The Trustpilot reviews of this business are awful. They paint a damning picture of what’s on offer here.

Conclusion

If you’re desperate for bot followers because you’re in a hurry to impress someone, this might be something you risk buying. We can’t recommend it because there’s a high chance the followers will disappear after a short time, making the cheap price not worth it.

Ektor.io / Ektora Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade – D+

A very recent rename and rebrand of a less-than-reputable service leaves us doubtful of this service and its claims.

Ektor.io and Ektora.com are the same business

At a Glance

As recently as December 2020, Ektor.io was a unique desktop-based Instagram growth provider. Into the new year, we noticed that the site was no longer operational. Today, the ektor.io domain redirects to … ektora.com, an equally-awful name behind a slightly-different Instagram growth service.

As recently as November 2020, Ektora.com wasn’t even a complete website:

Ektora offers one plan at a point that is consistent with other managed SaaS providers’.

Service Details

This appears to be a typical managed SaaS product. Though the website is pretty, the previous site, Ektor, wasn’t notable for any reason. Further, I doubt that such a small operation actually has the manpower to provide “priority” support.

Integrity & Reputation

The business just rebranded but for some reason continued using the same awful base name.

Ektor.io had terrible reviews on Trustpilot. There is actually a warning on the page warning people of mis-use.

There are tons of realistic-sounding bad reviews offset by fake-sounding glowing reviews. Bad reviews haven’t been responded to in almost a full year. It’s clear that the owner (again, owner-operator) didn’t care about the customers at all.

Since Ektora is brand new, the site is a great example of a totally-fake business in its infancy. The shameful part is that the owner might be trying to clean up his act, but is still relying on shady marketing.

This about sums it up

Conclusion

Ektor.io, which many people suggest was a complete scam, was rebranded as Ektora.com in 2021. I don’t recommend either iteration of this service.

The Efficient Social Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade – D

A suspicious new service that should be approached with caution.

View our grading methodology.

At a Glance

The Efficient Social not only has an awful name, but it also has an awful website. The business provides a hodgepodge of services, offering instant growth and power likes alongside organic growth. Pitched this way on such a basic website at such cheap prices, it’s hard to see the value.

Pricing

The prices are cheap. However, the descriptions leave a lot to be desired. “Real niche followers” can’t be guaranteed by anybody. The only difference between the plans is the estimated number of followers, which strongly suggests a basic automation service.

What could they possibly do to offer so many followers on their most expensive plan? Hint: they probably send you some fake activity, since they sell that too.

They also claim that they’ll beat any competitor’s price, which gives away that it’s a bot service.

Service Details

In addition to “Organic Growth” services, The Efficient Social also offers separate “Instant Growth” and “Superlikes” services.

Frankly, if you’re going to stoop so low as to buy fake activity, you should use a trusted provider. Likewise, if you’re going to use an organic growth provider, you should use an established one with respectable reviews.

Integrity & Reputation

It’s hard to trust a website that seems slapped together. It’s a very generic website with no identifiable team members or owner or even a business location. It’s a basic Wix site which causes our suspicions to grow.

Conclusion

Though some hybrid service providers might be highly effective, this isn’t one we can get behind. If it’s maintained at all, it’s staffed by a small team who can’t possibly offer quality of service in line with some of the more major players.

There are more, ahem, efficient ways to allocate your marketing budget.

Firing Table Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade – D

An untrustworthy service.

View our grading methodology.

At a Glance

Though Firing Table has been around for a long time, there is a complete lack of transparency around the business and the site hasn’t been updated in years. There are many complaints about the business in the Minneapolis Better Business Bureau page, which is actually quite rare for an Instagram growth service.

Pricing

Firing Table’s prices are charged per-week. What type of business charges on a weekly basis? Those that are scammy and trying to trick you. These prices are quite expensive considering it’s just a basic SaaS service, at best.

Service Details

The website claims they’ll get you “real fans and followers” but, truthfully, there’s no way to guarantee that. They say you’ll get a “60% interaction rate” which I think means a 60% reciprocal interaction rate which is impossible to guarantee and is extremely high unless you are a model.

The rest of their offerings are run-of-the-mill and, even if they do work flawlessly, quite expensive.

Integrity & Reputation

The business has been around for a long time. This stands at odds with the complete lack of web presence outside of the main website.

There are, however, many complaints on the Better Business Bureau’s website. You can see a small clustering of fake reviews in the spring of 2018 and then an avalanche of truthful negative complaints between the two pages they’re listed on. The majority of complaints haven’t been responded to.

This business has always struck me as a bit of a scam and I’m surprised it’s so hard to find these negative reviews.

Minneapolis Better Business Bureau

Conclusion

This is one of the few surviving “original” scammy services. It seems to be run in a dishonest way. The only reason it’s mentioned on so many blog sites is because it has a very distinctive (though awful) name that hasn’t been changed in years. Definitely skip this one.

SpectSocial Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade – D+

A shadowy site that has hints of life but probably is a ripoff.

View our grading methodology.

At a Glance

SpectSocial is a new service shrouded in secrecy and painfully-obvious fake reviews. The pricing suggests that it is a human-touch growth service, but it’s highly likely that it’s a basic bot.

Pricing

SpectSocial has very expensive plans which intend to indicate that there are humans working on your account. I highly doubt that humans will be working on your account.

Even compared to category-leader Ampfluence, this is a pretty awful deal and I’d be shocked if people are actually paying for this.

Service Details

The Elite and Pro plans provide whatever you’d expect to see from a service costing 1/3 or 1/2 the price. It’s unclear what the value proposition is here.

It’s very likely that this is a one-man operation that just happened to be really late to the game.

Integrity & Reputation

The header of the website contains an “As Seen on MSNBC” banner. This type of thing should be illegal because it’s incredibly misleading. This company didn’t pop up on MSNBC the minute the owner created the website, but the banner has been there forever.

Next, Trust Pilot. The reviews look good, but then you realize that all the good ones are clustered around May 2019 and that they’re all generic. Some of them even reference being customers for “years.” That’s not possible.

Obviously paid shill reviews

See how all these reviews are clustered around the same dates using the same extremely-generic American names? And how they all reference the length of subscription? Shills!
Again, the website says it was created in 2019 and Wayback supports this too. Shill!
I doubt that, since the website itself says it started in 2019…

Conclusion

If a service that has barely been around for a year offering services at the same price point as Ampfluence was actually worthwhile, maybe you’d actually have seen them appear on MSNBC.

This space really doesn’t need new players, especially ones that lie on their website and deceive customers. However, if the owner submits proof of having more than 100 active customers, I will upgrade this rating to the C range!

Pretty Fit Melanin Instagram Growth Service Review

Our Grade: D

This service may be functional but isn’t a wise choice.

Using language borrowed from other websites, PrettyFitMelanin claims to be the #1 growth service. Actually, you’re just paying for a feature on a niche fitness page with 700k+ followers.

Pricing

This service offers a one-time feature in exchange for a $20 Paypal donation.

Service Details

The service is somewhat unique and, ultimately, the provider is forthcoming about how your profile will be promoted. The issue with this type of service is that if you’re only going to be promoted on one single account, and that account’s owner has gone so far as to create a website in order to sell features, you can be assured that the quality of followers will be low and one-dimensional.

Integrity & Reputation

This is a new business dependent on an Instagram account which is centered around soft-core pornography (i.e. the “hot girls” niche). The marketing copy is generic and is a huge exaggeration for what is actually offered.

The payment processing is extremely shady as you’re asked to “donate” to GymDeity (an associated business) and then send @prettyfitmelanin a DM on Instagram. When you donate money on Paypal, you have no buyer protections. Though the service probably functions, you’d have no recourse if it didn’t.

Conclusion

Paying for features on Instagram can be a unique, albeit expensive, way to grow your account. Donating $20 to some random company on Paypal to be featured on a “hot girl” Instagram page is an awful idea, as it’s highly unlikely that the audience will be the demographic you are looking to target for your business.
