Followyst is an EU-based software platform that you download on your computer. You connect your smartphone to your computer and this software uses an Android emulator to take actions on your Instagram account. We’ve known this to be possible for quite some time but we’ve never seen somebody successfully implement it.

This is an attractive product for many reasons. Chief among them is that you don’t have to provide access to your account to a third party and that the automation tool is virtually undetectable by Instagram.

It’s extremely rare that we give a positive review to a service that has virtually no outside approval or traction, but we have reason to believe that this product is the real deal.

From our perspective, at such a cheap price, it’s highly unlikely that this service is a scam. The only downside is that you’ll have to tie up your smartphone and the targeting might not be as good as some other services. Further, you’ll be able to trace every move of the bot.

We’re impressed by this service and it’s very rare that we’re impressed by a service. Followyst works by emulating user activity directly on your smartphone while it is connected to your computer. It requires an Android phone to run and also requires full control over your phone. Though, you can get around this annoyance by purchasing a cheaper phone.

This is a bot service that takes typical actions, but it performs them in a unique and, possibly, an undetectable way.

Integrity & Reputation

There is very little information out there on the internet. The testimonials on the website are believable, though.This is going to be one of the rare times where we say this service is good until someone proves us wrong.

It’s worth noting that Followyst is inherently safer than most other providers. They do not require your password since the app merely controls your account once you’ve logged in. While using Followyst, it’s possible to simply look at your screen and see exactly what actions are being taken on your behalf. No other service offers this transparency.

Conclusion

We think that Followyst is an innovative Instagram growth service provider. While it doesn’t scale well for the agency manager and may pose an inconvenience for the average individual, there’s a lot of value here. If you have an Android device, we recommend giving this service a shot.

Though it’s left vague, the concept is that this service pays influencers to promote your account either through giveaways or other types of advertising. This can be a better and more authentic way of promoting your account compared to growing ads. If the follower numbers are accompanied with a money-back guarantee, it’s a great deal.

If the service floods customers with fake accounts, it’s an awful deal. When we spoke with the owner, he assured us that any barrage of fake followers would be dealt with.

Integrity & Reputation

It is rare that a service provider makes … zero … wild claims on its website. This isn’t one that we suspect is going to run bots or get your account in trouble. They don’t even need your password, so that’s a major win in and of itself.

This is a smaller service and there isn’t much social proof out there on the internet. The examples provided on the website are believable and the results we see are legitimate. We trust this site.

Any service that offers a money-back guarantee is one that is appreciated and probably worth taking a chance on, unless there are reviews out there explicitly stating that the company doesn’t honor this policy.

Conclusion

Tree Frog Social is known to have cheap prices. In our opinion, it’s the best bang for your buck in the space. A long time ago, $30 per month seemed to be the benchmark for all services, but when you consider that Tree Frog hasn’t seemed to increase their prices since they opened, and still offer a $1 first month with the code treefrog1, it’s too good too ignore.

They also offer discounts for longer-termed plans, though we don’t recommend these unless you’ve already had a pleasant experience with a trial plan.

Service Details

The main focus with their plans is that they guarantee exposure rather than pure follower numbers. This is good. It means that they aren’t promising something they can’t deliver. The rest of the features in the more expensive plans can be useful for those with larger budgets, but the real value is the $29.99 per month plan.

Tree Frog Social has been described as a “Hybrid” service. Our experiences have been positive and the results generally beat out services that cost five or even eight times as much. Though the targeting isn’t always precise, we are in agreement that the quality of followers beats out other services. We think the business employs a variety of methods including growth specialists, engagement groups, and influencer marketing.

The main negative is that Tree Frog’s cancelation process, though automated and instant, can be annoying to deal with. They also can take up to 72 hours to set up accounts. Tree Frog doesn’t offer a user dashboard either, but targeting updates can be processed elsewhere.

We talk about value here a lot. Why would you pay $100 or $200 per month when Tree Frog is going to do the same thing for $29.99?

Tree Frog seems to do everything right. There are no ridiculous promises or outlandish claims on their website. The business is traceable and the website has only changed slightly from when they first opened.

They have an active blog, Facebook, and Twitter with content writers who all seem to be real people, which is unheard of.

There are some negative trust pilot reviews, but I noticed that each and every one was responded to nearly immediately with an extremely detailed response. The business does have a reputation of being terse with customers, but they claim they’ve responded to 100% of all support tickets and Facebook chat messages over the last four years.

We messaged the company via Facebook and even called them on the phone number listed on their website. They responded to the chat fairly quickly. What really impressed us was that they were the only business that actually picked up the phone when we called.

Conclusion

Tree Frog Social is one of the leaders in the growth space. The prices are excellent, the service is safe, the customer support seems to be effective, and the results are on par with most of the more expensive services.

Ampfluence‘s prices are extremely high compared to other services. However, once you sign up, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. If you have a larger budget, they offer comprehensive creative agency services in their $999/mo plan.

We have a lot of respect for Ampfluence, but $249/mo or $349/mo just to get a human to implement a straightforward following, liking, and commenting strategy will seem exorbitant to the average Instagrammer. It’s hard to make the case that this is a good value compared to just running your own ad campaigns.

For the two cheaper services, you are paying for a human to like, follow, and comment on your behalf based on targets you provide. This is similar to many other Instagram growth services, except you’re guaranteed that a human is doing it.

Unfortunately, just as bots have action limits, so too do humans with access to your account. Neither party can take too many actions, as Instagram’s activity blocks don’t discriminate.

Further, there are hybrid bot services that can get you better results by combining different methods. Of course, they’re more risky, but they’re usually cheaper as well.

Ampfluence has a visible, vocal owner who is an experienced entrepreneur. The company has nothing to hide. Various members of this team have worked with Ampfluence and everyone we speak to has positive things to say.

If you see a review site that speaks badly of Ampfluence, you can be assured that it is not a legitimate review site.

Conclusion

If you have a large budget, Ampfluence is a stress-free, worry-free service. However, if your decision is between Ampfluence and improving your content, running some ads, and using some cheaper agencies, it’s not as clear of a decision.
